We operate the SwapTrackr mobile application (the "Service") and this Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application. Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the application.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, information that is collected automatically, and information from third parties. The data we collect is essential for providing and improving our Service.

  • Personal Identification Information: When you register for an account, we collect your name and phone number for authentication and communication purposes. You may also voluntarily provide business details such as your company name and address, which are used for personalizing your experience and for features like PDF generation.
  • Customer Data You Provide: As a core function of the app, you will enter data about your own customers. This includes their names, phone numbers, and optionally, images of their KYC documents (like Aadhaar and PAN cards) and digital signatures. This data is considered yours, and we act as a data processor for this information.
  • Transactional Data: We store all financial transaction data you record within the app. This includes swap amounts, MDR rates, calculated profits, card details (strictly limited to the bank name and the last 4 digits for identification), and transaction timestamps.

2. How We Use Your Information

Having accurate information permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we use information collected about you via the Application to:

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Provide the core functionalities of the app, such as tracking swaps, managing customers and cards, and calculating profits.
  • Generate reports and consent forms as requested by you.
  • Communicate with you regarding your account, support requests, or important updates to the Service.
  • Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience with the Application.
  • Prevent fraudulent transactions, monitor against theft, and protect against criminal activity.

3. Data Security and Storage

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. Your trust is paramount, and we have implemented robust measures to ensure your data's integrity and confidentiality.

  • Cloud Infrastructure: All your data is stored on Google Firebase, a world-class secure cloud platform that uses multiple layers of security to protect customer data.
  • Encryption: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS). Data at rest on our servers is also encrypted.
  • Access Control: Your account is protected by phone number-based OTP authentication. We have strict internal policies to ensure that no employee can access your personal or your customers' data unless required for a specific support request initiated by you.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We are committed to the principle that your data belongs to you. We do not and will not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third parties for their marketing purposes.

We may disclose information we have collected about you in certain situations:

  • By Law or to Protect Rights: If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others, we may share your information as permitted or required by any applicable law, rule, or regulation.
  • Third-Party Service Providers: We may share your information with third parties that perform services for us or on our behalf, such as cloud hosting (Google Firebase). These service providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

5. Your Rights and Choices

You have full control over the data you enter into SwapTrackr.

  • Access and Update: You can review and change the information in your account or your customers' profiles at any time by logging into the application.
  • Data Deletion: You can delete individual customer profiles, cards, or transactions at any time. If you wish to permanently delete your entire account and all associated data, please contact our support team. We will process your request in a timely manner.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any significant changes by sending a notification within the app or by other means of contact you have provided.
